Physics Labs for Students in High School
Hayes Shair records the changing mass of evaporating Liquid Nitrogen
The PhLaSH program provided all the participants with the opportunity to experience the workings of a major research university at the high school level. Basic physics concepts come alive through the use of sophisticated 'toys', with lab experiments using computers, lasers, and even liquid nitrogen. This program is especially enjoyable for students who prefer the "hands on" approach to science. Best of all, no prior knowledge is required, only curiousity and the willingness to participate.
